Note: This “mystery series” appeared at the end (footer) of a community newsletter (Lingo Lifestyle, Lingo Live) that featured company employees as characters in a global, online mystery game. The footer of the newsletter ALWAYS featured some fun fact, a joke, picture, gif, meme…anything that I thought would make a reader stick around to the end of the newsletter, if only to see what shenanigans I had gotten myself into that week.

The mystery game, however, outdid itself. It was truly one of the best pieces of engaging content I’d ever created.

So, with that being said…

A secret dream of mine has always been to be a detective and luckily for me, mystery is never in short supply at Lingo Live. 

Case in point: Amelia Torres.

Amelia Torres is our wonderful Onboarding & Culture Specialist. You may have met her when you started coaching with Lingo Live, or have seen her around in the coach Skype group. She is a coach, a writer, a poet, a storyteller extraordinaire. She is also a world class spy. 

Recently, it’s been discovered that she’s been revealing trade Lingo Lifestyle secrets (what flavor of Lacroix is our favorite and what self-help books we buy) to our arch rival, LONGO LOVE, run by this lady:

Amelia is an international woman of mystery. She travels from country to country before we can ever catch her. I thought I had her tracked down in Colorado, but alas! She escaped my clutches. However, despited her hurry to escape, she made sure to leave me a taunting message about where to find her next:

I’m off to the country

where the golden eagle flies

at La Casa Azul,

where a famous painter

used to reside.

And If you miss me there,

you’ll see me soon

at the pyramids of

the sun and the moon.
