Note: This “mystery series” appeared at the end (footer) of a community newsletter (Lingo Lifestyle, Lingo Live) that featured company employees as characters in a global, online mystery game. The footer of the newsletter ALWAYS featured some fun fact, a joke, picture, gif, meme…anything that I thought would make a reader stick around to the end of the newsletter, if only to see what shenanigans I had gotten myself into that week.
The mystery game, however, outdid itself. It was truly one of the best pieces of engaging content I’d ever created.

If you made it this far, stay a little longer for the chilling conclusion of the Lingo Lifestyle mystery thriller…
Once again, thanks to the clever detectives in the coaching community, I managed to narrow down Amelia’s location to Buenos Aires, Argentina and Foz de Iguaçu, Brazil.
Unfortunately, when I arrived in Argentina, all I saw was a cloud of dust as Mechi and Amelia sped off in Carlotta. And I arrived too late in Foz de Iguaçu to catch up to them there.
Once again, I was back on a plane to New York.
As I returned to the office, I noticed that my desk had been searched, and all my files on Amelia WERE GONE. I surveyed the scene before me in distress…and that’s when I noticed something even stranger…more alarming…more terrifying.
Something that chilled me to the bones.
